The attractions of the islands Gogoshima Island
The second biggest of the Kutsuna Islands, it's easy to visit for swimming in the sea and hiking.
About Gogoshima Island
Two kilometers west of Takahama port, it takes about 10 minutes by ferry. It's formed of several large and small mountains including Iyo Kofuji, and its intricate coastline offers fantastic views from higher ground. There are many historic shrines and Buddhist temples around the island. Many people visit in April to walk around the 88 temples that mimic the Shikoku Pilgrimage. Many unique and lively events are held with a focus on farming. There are many fun things to do such as fishing, walking, and the funaodori dance in autumn.

About 30 minutes on foot from Tomari or Yura port. Right in front of Washigasu beach.The meals are prepared using locally caught fish. From mid July to the end of August there's a beach house with boats and meals (you can order seafood and the like). Pick up and drop off is possible for 4 to 5 people.

Ayumi Shoten
About 15 minutes on foot from Tomari port.For dinner you can choose between seafood or barbecue. At the beach house the menu also includes seafood and barbecue, and you can rent boats. Toilets and showers are available. Pick up and drop off are also available.

A Coop Yura
Right in front of Yura port.A range of daily goods such as fresh food, precooked food, bread, and packaged meals, as well as paper cups, plates and chopsticks. The packaged meals and precooked foods sell out in the evening. Hot water and a microwave oven are provided.

Tomari Co-op
On the right after leaving Tomari port.This shop is about as big as a convenience store or a small supermarket. It has fresh food, packaged meals, bread and cakes, cup noodles and other daily goods. This shop also provides hot water and a microwave oven.

Yamada Shoten Beach House
About 15 minutes on foot from Tomari port.Sells famous hijiki tempura, octopus rice, octopus tempura, oden and so on. You can also enjoy marine leisure. Toilets and showers are available. Pick up and drop off are also available.

Operates via Funakoshi port from the 3rd Sunday in July to the third Sunday of August.
